When we arrived at this site in october 2010, this field had no planning status Now it officially is a 'public area'. The city wilderness on the right is allowed to progress. Will Péage Sauvage still e visible from this point of view in 2016?

- Observatorium is een kunstenaarsgroep uit Rotterdam die sinds 1997 zich toelegt op sculptuur in parken, straten en landschappen. Meestal wordt er in een gebruik voorzien dat past bij de omgeving: overnachten, optreden, observeren of, zoals bij het beeld Warten auf den Fluss in het Ruhrgebied, wachten. Naast de kunst in de openbare ruimte, is Observatorium via participatie en ontwerp betrokken bij de inrichting van de openbare ruimte. Observatorium is a consortium of three artists based in Rotterdam - Geert van de Camp, Andre Dekker and Ruud Reutelingsperger. Since 1998 they dedicate themselves to theory and practice of public art and place-making. They seek to create sculptures which give new meaning and use to environments, that are in transit.
